Chase Williams, MD, FACS

Dr. Chase Williams, MD, FACS is Board Certified in General Surgery. He joined Sandpoint Surgical Associates in August of 2013.

Dr. Williams was born and raised in Missoula, Montana, where he graduated from Sentinel High School. From Missoula he moved to Spokane for college at Whitworth University, where he played basketball and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Chase married his wife, Mahle, shortly thereafter and moved to Seattle for medical school at the University of Washington, and then Surgery Residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center. His clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, anti-reflux surgery, and management of breast and colon cancer. Following residency, they wanted to stay in the Northwest, and were ecstatic to move to Sandpoint in 2013 with their two children.
 
In his free time, Dr. Williams enjoys skiing, fly fishing and basketball. The Wiliams’ love the city of Sandpoint and look forward to serving the community.
